For those of you who don't know, I teach Furniture Making at Rycotewood which is the school I studied at for 5 years.
This year my primary focus is with the Level 3 City and Guilds students who are putting the final touches on their toolboxes. Which is a new project for the Level 3 course this year. They have also been working on some 1:5 scale models of chairs that they have designed.
I think it's fair to say they have blown it out the park. Many of these students continuously put me to shame, and they've only been doing this for one and a half years. Absolutely mental.
Have a look at some of their work below. I'll do a full post of their work at the end of the year and credit them individually. A few of them have Instagram accounts that will be well worth following in the next few years.
They are currently working on the curved fronted table which will be the 4th project in my Free Online Woodworking School. This includes a veneered top which is likely going to unearth some incredible designs from this lot.
